Ransomville Speedway

Ransomville Speedway Profile: Abby Castile

This girl shows the boys what girls are capable of! Abby Castile of Ransomville plans to start her sixth year racing this season! She started when her step dad and his dad were talking about racing go karts and next thing you know, she was off to the races! This 14 year old is making the jump into the Senior Lite class and is hoping to “win a couple of features and make top five in points”. Her and her race team decided she was at a good spot to move up after getting second in the New York Dirt Kart Series reunion race and winning a feature last season. That 44c originated from when her dad competed in the Hangover race and was given the number 44, so she took that number and added a ‘c’ to it for her last name and has owned it ever since! Castile believes that the Ransomville Speedway go kart program is “a good experience” in which “a lot of friendships can be made” and is beneficial with having the opportunity to move up to the next class when you are ready. Castile would like to thank her grandparents, Stirling Lubricants, Just Signs and Designs, Mom’s Coffee Shop, Fred’s Pizza, her aunt Debby, her uncle, and Sheesh and Mike for their support for the 2020 racing season. Other than her sponsors, she would like to thank her mom, dad, step dad, and great grandma for their unconditional support throughout her racing career thus far.
