LATE DAY STORMS WASH OUT RACING AT THE "BIG R"
RANSOMVILLE, N.Y. (August 16, 2019) - Late day thunderstorms rolled through western Niagara County on Friday, which brought thunder, lightning, hail and heavy rains to the area. The deluge forced track officials to cancel racing at Ransomville Speedway for August 16.
Ransomville will try again next Friday, August 23, as Nutrien Ag Solutions, Niagara Frontier Publications, Youngstown Fire Company and Bub's Backyard Speedway present a full card of racing featuring all five weekly divisions. Racing starts at 7:15 p.m.
There are only two weeks left in the season for DIRTCar weekly points, which means the pressure is on for drivers in the Krown Undercoating 358 Modifieds and Investor's Service Sportsman.
