Ransomville Speedway Announces Increased Purse for 358 Modifieds
RANSOMVILLE, NY (April 22, 2026) Ransomville Speedway officials are pleased to announce an increase to the purse structure for the track’s headline division, the Krown Undercoating 358 Modifieds, for the 2026 racing season.
The enhanced payout will see the race winner now taking home $1,750, with positions second through 15th also receiving increased payouts. The move reflects the speedway’s continued commitment to supporting its competitors and strengthening one of the premier weekly divisions in the region.
“We are excited to be able to do this for our headline class, the Krown Undercoating 358 Modifieds,” said Ransomville Speedway General Manager Tana Robinson. “We wanted to show our appreciation for those who’ve called Ransomville home for many years and also entice more drivers to give us a try," Robinson said. "Jamie Friesen has been busy on the track, helping us to get it in tip top shape for 2026," Robinson continued.
The Krown Undercoating 358 Modifieds have long been a cornerstone of competition at “The Big R,” featuring some of the top dirt modified talent in Western New York and Southern Ontario. The increased purse is expected to further elevate competition levels and attract additional teams to the weekly program.
