    Ransomville Speedway Honors 2025 Champions at Awards Banquet

    RANSOMVILLE, NY (December 6, 2025) Ransomville Speedway celebrated the 2025 season with the annual Awards Banquet Saturday night at the Lewiston 2 Fire Hall. Worldwide Music Productions got the party going after the ceremony, which track announcers Steven Petty and Jay Trainer served as the Masters of Ceremonies. Donna Eick catered a wonderful meal.

    The speedway honored and celebrated April Matson on her 30 + year commitment to Ransomville Speedway. April is retiring from her position as Concession Stand Manager.

    Sportsman driver Cameron Tuttle received the Trevor Wilkens Hard Charger Award. Mike Brachmann was the recipient of the Pat Spina Mechanic of the Year Award. Bud Mt. Pleasant and Dave Stolzenberg Jr received the Ray MacIver Sportsmanship Award. The Performance Award went to Jake Bansmer, while Mat Williamson was named Driver of the Year. The Hard Luck Award went to Jim Harbison. Most Improved Driver awards went to Brandon Close, Mike Kelly, Abby Castile, and Kyle Richner. The Best Appearing Car Award went to Jesse Cotriss, Dave Conant, Mike Welch, and Jeffrey Wynes. Scott Just was the Owner of the Year, while Tyler Foster (Sportsman) and Ryan Hessler (Mini Stocks) were the track’s Rookies of the Year.

    The speedway would like to thank East Coast Speed, VP Race Fuels, Hoosier Racing Tire, Krown Undercoating, and Just-Bilt Models and Wraps for their contributions to the awards ceremony.

    Mat Williamson from St. Catharines, Ontario earned his fifth consecutive Krown Undercoating 358 Modified track championship. Multi-time track champion Ryan Susice was second in points, ahead of Gary Lindberg, Chad Brachmann, and Noah Walker.

    Jacob Bansmer from East Aurora, NY claimed his first Stirling Lubricants DIRTcar Sportsman track championship by just four points over Cameron Tuttle. Brett Senek was third in points, ahead of Derek Wagner, and Tyler Foster.

    Josh Pangrazio from Oakfield, NY claimed his second KiPo Chevrolet Street Stock championship in three seasons. 2024 track champion Mike Welch was second in points, ahead of Brandon Sherwood, Alex Morris, and Mike Kelly.

    Cole Susice from Ransomville, NY earned his fourth Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stock track championship by just two points over Matt Hornquist and eight points ahead of Brandon Close. Jeffrey Wynes and Ben Hornquist were fourth and fifth in points respectively.

    Plans for the 2026 season are already in the works, with the schedule due to come out in the coming weeks. Ransomville Speedway management wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy and joyous New Year.
