Purse Structure Announced for 8th Annual John Susice Memorial
RANSOMVILLE, NY (August 27, 2025) The John Susice Memorial for the KiPo Chevrolet Street Stocks is coming up on Friday, September 5 at the Ransomville Speedway. Once again, the Susice family along with sponsors J&D Auto and Tires, and Susice Junk Cars have provided bonus money for this event, making it one of the more lucrative races in Western New York.
The John Susice Memorial pays tribute to the former Street Stock supporter, mechanic, and engine builder that passed away in February of 2017. His nephew Ryan is a multi-time 358 Modified track champion, and his grandchildren Cole and Austin have also been victorious and champions at The Big R. Past winners include Rob Murray (2017), Cory Sawyer (2018), Dave Bailey (2019), Jaren Israel (2021), Glenn Whritenour (2022), Josh Pangrazio (2023), and Shane Wolf (2024).
With the track purse, the race will be paying at minimum $800 to win, with $500 for second, $400 for third, $300 for fourth, and $250 for fifth place. Tenth place will pay $120, and it is $100 to take the green.

There will also be a lap money with all monies raised from the lap sponsorship program going directly back to the drivers.
Contingency awards include heat race winners receiving $25 from DMS Powdercoating. Jamie’s Produce is giving away $100 to the hard charger. TLK Outdoor Services will be sponsoring the hard luck award, with $100 going to that recipient. The hot lap hero award goes to the driver that sets the fastest lap in hot laps will be receiving $38 from Dave Botsford.
The September 5th program will also feature the second visit of the season by the CRSA Sprint Cars. Pit gates will open at 5pm, grandstands at 6pm, and racing will get underway at 7:15pm.
