    Williamson, Senek, Pangrazio, Hornquist, and Zimmerman Collect Ransomville Checkers

    RANSOMVILLE, NY (July 11, 2025) Mat Williamson from Ridgeway, Ontario used a late-race pass to collect his fifth win of the season in the Krown Undercoating 358 Modifieds on Performance Manufacturing Night at the Ransomville Speedway. Brett Senek from Ransomville, NY won the Stirling Lubricants DIRTcar Sportsman feature. Josh Pangrazio from Oakfield, NY won the Empire Street Stock Series event presented by Butler Excavating and Justin Neff Landscaping. Matt Hornquist from Eden, NY won the Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stock feature. Brendan Zimmerman from Ransomville, NY won the Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman feature.

    During intermission, the cars and stars of The Little R took centerstage for their annual exhibition in front of the Friday night crowd. Participating in the exhibition races included Gabe Rodriguez, Garrett Nettleton, Raelyn Just, Jayme Just, Bently Olszewski, Fulton Coleman, Ryder Coleman, Aideen Rusnock, Re'solace DiRamio, Jake Schrader, and Brandon Guyette. The Little R races on Thursday nights at 7:15pm, with FREE grandstand admission to all races at The Little R.

    Jesse Cotriss and Noah Walker brought the Krown Undercoating 358 Modified feature to the green flag, with Cotriss in the lead ahead of Kyle Richner and Walker. Richner would take over the lead on lap two. With Richner in the lead, Steve Lewis Jr raced in second ahead of Ryan Susice, Cotriss, and Gary Lindberg. Lindberg would take over fourth on lap nine, as Susice would reel in Lewis for second place. Mat Williamson took over fifth and would close in on Lindberg and Lewis, as Susice raced in second place. Richner was able to open up over a three-second lead on the field, until Noah Walker came to a stop on the front stretch to bring out the caution on lap 23. Susice would take over the lead on the restart, as Williamson raced his way to second, and battled with Susice for the lead. Williamson to the lead on lap 27. “Money Mat” would collect his fifth Ransomville checkered flag of the season.

    Abby Castile and Kevin Wills were on the front row for the Stirling Lubricants DIRTcar Sportsman feature event, with Castile in the lead, with Nigel Pendykoski taking over second place. Pendykoski would take over the lead on lap three, with Brett Senek and Cody McPherson moving up into third and fourth respectively. Senek would take over the lead from Pendykoski on lap six. McPherson would take over second on lap seven, with Pendykoski, Jake Bansmer, and Castile racing in the top five. Senek and McPherson would pull away from the field. The caution would come out on lap 15 as Jim Harbison spun in turn one and collected Tyler Moore and Jessie Truax. On the restart, Senek would continue to lead McPherson, Pendykoski, Bansmer, and Dave Conant. Senek would go on to score the win.

    Justin Neff and Mike Kelly were on the front row for the Empire Street Stock Series, with Kelly in the lead, with Damian Long and Mike Welch moving into second and third respectively. Josh Pangrazio would take over third on lap three after passing Welch. Pangrazio would pass Long and Kelly to take over the lead, but Long would challenge Pangrazio for the lead. Pangrazio would open the lead in the race’s midway point, as John Zimmerman battled with Kelly for third place. Pangrazio pulled away to score his eighth win of the season.

    Ben Hornquist and Kenny Zimmerman shared the front row for the Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks feature event, with Hornquist in the lead ahead of Matt Hornquist, Ryan Hessler, and Cole Susice. Jeffrey Wynes would move into the top five early on and he would catch Hornquist, Hornquist, and Susice up front. Matt Hornquist would get around his dad to take over the lead on lap eight, with Susice and Wynes right there as well. Hornquist would go on to score his second win of the season.

    Christian Soliday and Brendan Zimmerman were on the front row for the Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman feature event, with Zimmerman in the lead. Zimmerman, Soliday, and Lucas Newton pulled away from the field. Mike Seefeldt and Kyle Teeter got together in turn two to bring out the caution on lap eight. Zimmerman would take off with the lead on the restart and would go on to earn his first Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman win.

    Next Friday night will be night two of Pink Out The Big R Weekend, which begins on Thursday with racing at The Little R. We are encouraging all fans, drivers, officials, and crews to wear pink in solidarity and support of General Manager Tana Robinson and all of those who are affected by breast cancer. The Friday night July 18th program will feature a full card of racing plus Kids Bike Races! Kids are encouraged to bring their bikes and helmets and race on the go-kart track during intermission. Pit gates will open at 5pm, grandstands at 6pm, and racing will get underway at 7:15pm.
