Stevens Family Memorial Now Paying $4,944 to Win for DIRTcar 358 Modifieds

RANSOMVILLE, NY (May 19, 2025) The Stevens Family Memorial Race on Friday, May 23 is quickly becoming a very lucrative race for the Krown Undercoating DIRTcar 358 Modifieds. The race is sponsored by Basil Ford of Niagara Falls, with special thanks to S&W Service Centre, Wendt’s Propane & Oil, Dave Walters, Mike Payne Motorsports, Dylan Wurfel, Ransomville Speedway, WRG, and Bicknell Racing Products.

The winner of the race will be taking home a guaranteed $4,944, with $1744 for second, $844 for third, $744 for fourth, and $644 for fifth place. The 44-lap event for the 358 Modifieds will be raced under DIRTcar Northeast rules and will follow a draw/redraw format. All drivers must check in at the sign-in booth and draw for starting positions.

We are actively seeking additional sponsorships to aid in increasing positions 11 on back. If you are interested in sponsoring, reach out to Melissa Stevens or contact Ransomville Speedway General Manager Tana Robinson at (716) 791-3602 or via email at raceransomville@gmail.com

There is a $500 halfway leader bonus. Plus, Bicknell Racing Products has graciously donated gift certificates for the race. Sponsorship contributions of all levels will go directly into the Modified purse. The race will also reward a driver with a qualifying spot for the Outlaw 200 held at the Fulton Speedway October 3 and 4th.

Qualifying heat race winners for both the 358 Modifieds and the Sportsman will be receiving $100 from Randy and Tracy Williamson.

The Stirling Lubricants DIRTcar Sportsman will also be racing for extra cash on Friday night, with the winner bringing home $850, with $500 for second, and $350 for third. The 25-lap event will be utilizing the track handicap system and handicapping has officially gone into effect. Special thanks to Terry St. Amand and James Little for their contributions to the Sportsman purse.

The Friday, May 23 racing program will also feature a full card of Stirling Lubricants DIRTcar Sportsman, KiPo Chevrolet Street Stocks, Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks, and the Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman. Pit gates will open at 5pm, with grandstands opening at 6pm, and racing will get underway at 7:15pm.
