FIRTH JEWELERS, CROSBY'S & BUB'S BACKYARD SPEEDWAY RENEW FOR 2020

RANSOMVILLE, N.Y. (January 7, 2020) - A trio of local businesses have renewed their commitment to grassroots racing in Niagara County as Firth Jewelers, Crosby’s Stores and Bub’s Backyard Speedway will return as marketing partners of Ransomville Speedway for the 2020 season.

Firth Jewelers will be race night sponsor on Friday, July 17 for the John Susice Memorial Street Stock race. Firth has secured a pair of VIP suites for the evening as well as an ad in the Ransomville Laps race night program. It has been a long standing tradition for Firth to present jewelry to Ransomville’s track champions and their significant others during the season awards banquet.

Since 1946, Firth Jewelers has sold fine jewelry to the people of Western New York. With one of the largest single store selection of both jewelry and loose diamonds in Western New York, Firth’s has always been a great place to find that perfect item that says “You are special to me”. From engagement diamonds to distinctive gold and platinum pieces, watches, figurines, clocks, and more, Firth Jewelers is the place to find exactly what you’re looking for. Firth Jewelers is located just minutes away from the Fashion Outlets on Military Road in Niagara Falls.

For the second year in a row, Bub’s Backyard Speedway will be a race night sponsor at the “Big R”. Bub’s will sponsor both the Friday, June 19 and August 14 events. Bub’s Backyard Speedway is RC car racing facility located in Youngstown, N.Y. They race scale remote control Dirt Modifieds on a hard packed dirt oval on Wednesday nights from May to October. Last season Bub’s held a fun RC car racing demonstration on Ransomville’s frontstretch, and even allowed some of Ransomville’s race car drivers to try their hand at remote control car racing. The facility is operated by Bub Zimmerman, the son of 358 Modified driver Russ Zimmerman.

Crosby’s is back on board as a marketing partner for the upcoming season. They will be represented on signage inside the facility as well as being an advertiser in the Ransomville Laps program. Whether you headed to the “Big R” or on your way home be sure to stop at the Crosby’s location at the corner of Ransomville and Youngstown-Lockport roads for gas, snacks, drinks, lottery tickets and more. Crosby’s is proud to support Ransomville Speedway once again in 2020.

Additional marketing and sponsorship opportunities are still available for the 2020 racing season at Ransomville Speedway. Contact Jenn Martin at the speedway office at (716) 791-3602 for more details.
