RANSOMVILLE, NY… (March 26, 2018) In front of a large crowd at the Fashion Outlets Niagara Falls, Mariah Reilly was named the 2018 Miss Ransomville.

“I am speechless right now”, Mariah said after she was crowned Miss Ransomville. “Being named Miss Ransomville is unbelievable, I can’t believe it”, she continued. “I would like to thank my family and friends for their support and pushing me to do this”, Mariah said. “Being able to meet Alexis (Morris), Nicole (Dell), Kari (Stoelting) and Jessica (Shenshon) were amazing”, Mariah stated. Mariah’s family has a long history of racing on the asphalt side. “My grandfather started racing in the 60’s through the early 70’s at Lancaster”, Mariah said. “After he came back into the sport in the late 80’s, he’s had family and family friends drive his car”, she continued. Mariah has even had the opportunity to drive in a four-cylinder at Lancaster and won a Powder-Puff event. She has recently become interested in dirt racing after a few visits to the Big R, and her recent trip to Volusia Speedway Park in Florida.

“I wanted to be Miss Ransomville because I love to meet the kids, drivers, and fans that love racing like I do”, Mariah said. “Racing is my life and I want to show my support to the thing that I love, racing”, Mariah said. “I love seeing the kids involved with the go-karts and getting to love racing like I do”, Mariah continued.

2017 Miss Ransomville Emily Buzzard is excited about Mariah and welcoming her to the Ransomville Speedway family. “Mariah has a love for racing and an interest in learning more about our track”, Emily said. “I know she will represent Ransomville well and spread her positive energy throughout the stands and pits each week. I wish her the best this summer and can’t wait to see her at the track”, Emily added.
