2012 Hangover 150 Rules/Info

Attention Sun Roof Cars!

For the 2012 Hangover 150, all sunroof cars must have the hole covered by no less than 3/16" steel.  The covering may be welded, or bolted down by no less than 6 grade 5 bolts.

 

All entries are will be assigned a car # when they register!.  The car # needs to be shark fin style! Bright paint is recommended.

It's that time of the year again! The 12th edition of the Hangover 150 will be the next event on the Ransomville Speedway Schedule. We will be once again lining up cars and assigning car numbers as they register.  All three races will pay $500 to win.  Classes with over 50 entries will pay the top 3. Pre registration is $45. This includes the driver's pit pass if purchased by December 31st, at 5 PM. Grandstands $5.00, 12 years and older. Pit passes $20. Registrations will begin on Tuesday, November 1st. Registrants must provide Name, Address, City, Zip, State and Zip Code. Checks, Money Order, Matercard or Visa accepted with expiration date. Rules are as follows:

All Mirrors (outside, and inside must be removed!)
*Any American or Foreign street car

2 Wheel Drive cars only!  No All Wheel Drive Cars!

8 Cylinders only in 8 Cylinder Class

3 and 4 Cylinder cars only in 4 Cylinder Class

6 Cylinder cars only in 6 Cylinder class
*Doors  must be welded or chained shut
*No Trucks permitted (Mini Vans are O.K.)
*D.O.T. tires only (no chains or studded tires)
*No Racing Parts
*Working seatbelts and approved helmets mandatory.  Racing Belts highly recommended!
*All glass must be removed including turn signals and headlights
  (windshields are optional)
*No bars through the firewall.  (Rub Rails 1 1/2" by 1 1/2" tight to body O.K.)
*No reinforced front ends or rear ends
*Roll bars optional, but highly recommended
*Trunk must be empty, no add on weight

*Sun Roof's and T-Tops must be securely covered with at least 3/16" steel.
*A two foot hole must be cut in the hood to expose the carburetor for fire fighting.
