BURLEY, HENRY, MORRIS, KRULL, AND COLLECT WINS AT RANSOMVILLE

Friday, May 30, 2008-A total of ninety-five cars signed in pitside on a cloudy but warm Friday afternoon. The three weekly divisions along with a 4 cylinder enduro were slated.

Todd Burley of Spencerport, NY captured the win aboard the Mighty Taco 358 Modified thirty lap feature main. Burley took the lead away from Sam Crogan on lap fifteen and maintained it the remaining distance. The defending champion had suffered dismal luck through the first few weeks of the season but rebounded nicely last Friday night.  Burley piloted his Bashore Trucking sponsored #5 to victory lane over
Crogan, Jeff McGinnis, Rich Vinson, and Scott Kerwin.  Crogan was later moved to last place for a tech infraction.

James Henry of Niagara Falls, NY took top honors last Friday night aboard the twenty-five lap Original Pizza Logs Sportsman main. It was Henry’s first ever sportsman win…the second first time sportsman winner in as many weeks at the big R. Henry took the lead away from Steve Miller with two laps remaining in the feature main. Miller, whom was
also looking for his first ever win, had led from lap eleven.  Nate Reynolds led laps 1-10. Miller, Tyler MacPherson, Mike Bowman, and Tony Purgarich rounded out the top five.

Alex Morris of Niagara Falls, NY took top honors for the second week in a row aboard the first Ki-Po Chevrolet fifteen lap main event.  Morris took the lead away from Mike Childrose on lap seven and was never seriously challenged after that point. Chris Burek, Wayne Close, Brandon Poole, and Boots Martin rounded out the top five. Eighteen cars
took the initial green.

Scott Krull was awarded the win aboard the second Ki-Po Chevrolet fifteen lap Streetstock main event after Don Rappleyea failed to pass
post race tech. Krull became the sixth different winner in the full fendered division for 2008. Borkenhagen, Tim Raymond, Jeff Wilkinson, and Kenny Washburn rounded out the top five.

Garrett Pregitza from Cheektowaga, NY took top honors in the 4
