FOTI, SENEK, STEFANSKI, KNOLL, AND DUHOW PICK UP NIAGARA CUP WINS AT RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 – A total of 73 karters signed in last Thursday night for the annual Niagara Cup on the Little R at Ransomville Speedway.  Taking home the biggest payday of the season was David Foti who collected the $500 grand prize after he took the checkered in the 50 lap Stock Medium main. Additionally some 30 trophies were awarded compliments of Jeffery Machine of Ransomville, NY.

 

            A total of 25 Stock Medium’s took the initial green with Erick Rudolph leading the way. The action was hot and heavy behind him as drivers swapped positions through-out the field. On lap 16 – Chris Lammerts took over the top spot prior to giving it up on lap 20 to Root.  Root would set the pace through lap 31 when Foti notched the point position and eventually the win. Mike Seefeldt, Ron Spatorico, Nick Herriven, Kevin Daunce, Rudolph, Root, Jonathon Reid, Lammerts, Matthew Farnham, Tim Wnek, Jeff Anstett, Brandon Zavarella, Aaron Baker, Scott Bonesky, Cassie McGrath, Tim Swatsworth, Seana Case, Jake Stefanski, Daryl Borkenhagen, Cole Daubney, Jeff Giovani, Dan Heschke, Steve Sweet, and George Curtis rounded out the field.

 

 

            Brett Senek took the win aboard the Junior Restricted fifteen lap main – his seventh of the season. Brad Duhow, Nicholas Schultz, Matthew Veihdeffer, Casey Smalley, Cody Kott, Brian Monahan, RJ Littlefield, Jim Moll, and John Conklin rounded out the finish.

 

            Cam Stefanski took top honors in the Junior II division – his sixth of the season. Austin Susice, PJ Koestler, Alyssa Mullen, Gregory Beckett, Al Kramp, Trent Curtis, Chase Collins, Tristan Jeffery, Steve Lewis, David Littlefield, Steve Beckett, and Megan Clevely rounded out the field.

 

            Katy Knoll won the Junior I fifteen lap main. Knoll took the lead at the drop of the green and maintained it the entire distance. Andrew Srock, Cole Susice, Eric Veihdeffer, Jeff Chapman, Stephen Imerese, Nicholas Tarnowski, Gene Gregoric, Matthew Wollaber, and Selena Smith rounded out the field.

 

            Dylan Duhow bested a field of 13 Novice competitors and took home a trophy as big as him!  Following Duhow across the line were Shelby Smith, Michael Carmer, Austyn Werstroh, Taylor Morris, Jason Hoegel, Tyler Derubeis, Kevin Marsh, Olivia Tober, Joey Kiszka, Anthony Wagner, Jon Smith, and Joshua Hansen.
