HANSEN, SMITH, KNOLL, STEFANSKI, SENEK, HESCHKE, AND HERRIVEN NOTCH WINS IN GOKARTS

Ransomville, NY - Friday, July 2nd, 2010 - A season high of sixty-five karts signed in pitside last Thursday at the Little R. Joshua Hansen made a rare appearance at Ransomville Speedway last Thursday and made is worth his while as he took the win in the first ten lap Novice main. Hansen took the lead away from Michael Carmer on lap two and continued to show the way through the checkered. Carmer held on for second followed by Dylan Duhow and Taylor Morris.  The second Novice main was won by Shelby Smith - her first of the 2010 season. Smith took the lead at the drop of the green and held it for the entire ten laps. Joshua Kiszka, Anthony Wagner, Olivia Taylor, and Kevin Marsh rounded out the field.
     Katy Knoll led all fifteen laps of the Junior I main event enroute to her second feature win of the season. Gene Gregoric, Andrew Srock, Stephen Imerese, Jeff Chapman, Cole Susice, Selena Smith, Jason Stanton, Eric Veihdeffer, and Nicholas Tarnowski rounded out the field.
     Cam Stefanski took the lead at the drop of the green and maintained it through the entire fifteen circuits. Stefanski collected his second win of the season followed by Jake Swanson, Chase Collins, David Littlefield, Austin Susice, Tristan Jeffery, Al Kramp, PJ Koestler, Alyssa Mullen, Steve Lewis, Megan Cleveley, Marc Eberz, and Trent Curtis.
     Brett Senek continued his domination in the Junior Restricted ranks after collecting his fifth win of the season. Senek took the lead away from Cody Kott on a lap ten restart and held the field at bay the remainder of the event. Nicholas Schultz, Kott, Matthew Veihdeffer, Brad Duhow, Casey Smalley, Brian Monahan, RJ Littlefield, and John Conklin rounded out the field.
     Dan Heschke won his first Stock Medium main event last Thursday night. Heschke took the lead away from Matthew Farnham on lap fourteen and was never seriously challenged after that point. Steve Sweet came home second followed by Mike Seefeldt, Farnham, Chris Lammerts, George Curtis, Brandon Zavarella, Kevin Daunce, James Gorcheck, Seana Case, Cole Daubney, Cassie McGrath, Scott Bonesky, Tim Swatsworth, and Jonathon Reid.  Points leader Reid suffered mechanical woes which side-lined him pitside with just a few laps remaining.
     Nick Herriven took home the win in the Clone class. Herriven took the lead at the drop of the green and held it the entire fifteen laps. Cori Webber, Taylor Sears, Jeff Anstett, Brian Knox, Chris Junior, Casey Smalley, and Joe Mardocco.
