GoKart
Season
kicked
off this
past
Thursday
night
with a
total of
sixty-two
karts in
attendance.
The
second
Novice
feature
provided
for some
great
entertainment
as Cole
Susice
and
Dylan
Duhow
swapped
the lead
several
times in
the
final
circuits
while
the
Stock
Medium
feature
kept
fans on
the edge
of their
seats
with
eighteen
competitors
taking
the
green.
In
the
first
ten lap
Novice
go-round
the win
went to
Kyle
Phillips
aboard
his #21
entry.
Phillips
took the
lead
away
from
Michael
Carmer
on lap
five and
held it
the
remaining
distance.
Shelby
Smith
followed
suit
finishing
in
second
followed
by
Carmer
and
Taylor
Morris.
The
second
ten lap
Novice
main
went to
Cole
Susice.
After a
torrid
lap
after
lap
position
exchange
with
Dylan
Duhow-Susice
took the
win by
the
slimmest
of
margins.
Duhow
came
home
second
followed
by Tyler
Derubeis,
Jason
Hoegel,
and
Kevin
Marsh.
In
the
Junior I
ranks
the win
went to
Wyatt
Walker.
Walker
led the
final
and most
important
lap just
edging
out Katy
Knoll
for the
win.
Knoll
finished
in
second
followed
by
Steven
Imerese,
Selena
Smith,
Eric
Veihdeffer,
Jeff
Chapman,
Andrew
Srock,
Gene
Gregoric,
and
Nicholas
Tarnowski.
David
Littlefield
took top
honors
aboard
the
Junior
II
divison.
A total
of
twelve
karts
signed
in for
competition
in this
class -
the
largest
count
for the
Junior
ranks.
Littlefield
took
over the
point
position
on lap
five and
was
never
seriously
challenged
after
that
time.
Austin
Susice
came
home in
second
followed
by Steve
Lewis,
PJ
Koestler,
Aylssa
Mullen,
RJ
Littlefield,
Marc
Eberz,
Trent
Curtis,
John
Conklin,
Chase
Collins,
Tristan
Jeffery,
and Cam
Stefanki.
Brett
Senek
led all
fifteen
laps
aboard
the
Junior
Restricted
class
enroute
to
taking
his
first
win of
the
season.
Senek
took the
checkered
over
Brad
Duhow,
Matthew
Veihdeffer,
Brian
Monahan,
Cody
Kott,
and
Nicholas
Schultz.
The
Stock
Medium
kept
scorers
on their
toes as
a total
of
eighteen
competitors
took the
green
for the
twenty
lap
feature
main.
Mike
Seefeldt
took the
lead at
the drop
of the
green
and held
off
persistent
challenges
from
Kevin
Root and
Jonathon
Reid
through-out
the
event.
Seefeldt
took the
win over
Root,
Reid,
Steven
Sweet,
Matthew
Farnham,
Seana
Case,
James
Gorcheck,
Jay
Bean,
Jeff
Anstett,
Brandon
Zavarella,
John
Bonesky,
Tim
Swatsworth,
Dan
Heschke,
Cole
Daubney,
Jeff
Giovino,
Chris
Lammerts,
and
Tyler
Walker.
The
Little R
debuted
the
Clone
class
last
night with
a total
of seven
competitors
signing
up.
This
division
is the
only
division
allowing
a
competitor
to do
double
duty by
running
more
than one
class.
Cori
Webber
took the
lead at
the drop
of the
green
and held
it the
entire
fifteen
laps.
Ron
Spatorico
applied
heavy
pressure
but to
no avail
as he
settled
for
second.
Colin
Spatorico
came
home in
third
followed
by Tyler
Walker,
Taylor
Sears,
Nicholas
Schultz,
and
Brian
Knox.
The
Clone
class is
slated
for
competition
every
three
weeks
however
could
become a
weekly
division
should
participation
warrant
that.
The
Clone
class
offers a
less
expensive
route
for kart
racing
as the
engines
cost
significantly
less.
