the
day
prior
–
once
again
Ransomville
Speedway
enjoyed
bright
sunshine
come
race
time
last
Friday
night.
A
total
of
eighty-eight
cars
signed
in
pitside
including
the
Midstate
Vintage
Cars.
Dave
Just
of
Ransomville,
NY
took
top
honors
aboard
the
thirty
lap
Mighty
Taco
Modified
main.
Just
took
the
lead
away
from
Justin
Sharp
early
on
and
never
looked
back
aboard
his
#54j
machine.
Just
held
off
persistent
challenges
by
both
Robbie Krull
and
Stewart
Friesen
in
the
late
going.
It
was
a
very
popular
win
for
Just
in
front
of
his
home
town
crowd.
Krull,
Friesen,
Chad
Brachmann,
and
Pete
Bicknell
rounded
out
the
top
five.
Jesse
Cotriss
took
top
honors
aboard
the
twenty-five
lap
Original
Pizza
Logs
Sportsman
main
event.
Cotriss
took
the
lead
away
from
Steve
Schumacher
prior
to
half
way
and
was
never
seriously
challenged
after
that
point.
Cotriss
went
on
to
claim
his
second
win
of
the
season
followed
by
Schumacher,
Don
Spatorico,
Ryan
Susice,
and
Derek
Smith.
Jon
Richael
of
Niagara
Falls,
NY
took
top
honors
last
Friday
night
aboard
the
first
fifteen
lap
Ki-Po
Chevrolet
Streetstock
feature.
Richael
took
the
lead
at
the
drop
of
the
green
and
maintained
it
through
the
entire
distance
holding
off
Billy
Coleman
in
the
process.
It
was
Richaels
first
win
of
his
career.
Billy
Coleman,
Randy
Zimmerman,
Gerald
Poole,
and
Chris Burek
rounded
out
the
top
five.
Roger
Israel
became
the
nineteenth
different
winner
aboard
the
Ki-Po
Chevrolet
Streetstock
division
after
he
collected
the
win
in
the
second
fifteen
lap
main.
Israel
inherited
the
lead
when
Pat
Burek
spun
on
lap
lap
two.
Roger
held
his
son
Jaren
at
bay
the
remaining
distance
enroute
to
his
first
win
of
the
season.
Jaren
Israel,
Ricky
Washburn,
Scott
Krull,
and
Don
Rappleyea
rounded
out
the
top
five.

took
the
victory
aboard
the

feature.
