BURLEY, SUSICE, NASHWINTER, HARMS, AND STONE COLLECT WINS AT RANSOMVILLE

(Alex and Helen Bruce Photos)
Ransomville, NY – A total of one hundred and nine cars
filled the pit area last Friday night at the big R. A full
card of Mighty Taco Modifieds, Original Pizza Logs
Sportsman, Ki-Po Chevrolet Streetstocks, and Bobcat of
Buffalo Firehall Enduro Series entertained a full house as
mother nature provided perfect racing weather.

Todd Burley of Spencerport, NY captured his second win in as
many weeks aboard the Mighty Taco Modifieds. Just when it
appeared as though Jeff McGinnis would win his very first
Modified points race, the caution flew bunching up the
field. Burley quickly went to work on the inside of McGinnis
and took the lead as the white flag was in the air. Burley
went on for the win followed by McGinnis, Robbie Krull,
Tommy Flannigan, and Chad Brachmann.
Ryan Susice of Ransomville, NY blistered the field last
Friday night aboard the twenty-five lap Original Pizza Logs
Sportsman main. After starting deep in the field, Susice
took over the top spot on lap five getting some help during
a lap one incident where he was able advance several
positions. Once in the lead Susice pulled away from the
remainder of the field aboard his #38k racer. Don Spatorico,
Jesse Cotriss, Steve Schumacher, and Nate Reynolds rounded
out the top five.

Webb Nashwinter of Ransomville, NY took top honors in the
first fifteen lap Ki-Po Chevrolet Streetstock feature last
Friday night. Nashwinter grabbed the lead at the drop of the
green and maintained it the entire distance aboard his #22n
machine. De rrick Borkenhagen, Jaren Israel, Dave Conant,
and Gerald Poole rounded out the top five. Ben

Harms captured the win aboard the second Ki-Po Chevrolet
Streetstock feature main. Harms inherited the lead around
the mid-way point after contact between Don Rappleyea and
Kirk Sherwood sent them both around on the backstretch.
Harms led the remaining distance and became the fourth
different winner in the full-fendered division for 2009.
Charles Harvey, Jon Richael, Brandon Sherwood, and Roger
Israel rounded out the top five.

Jim Stone of Ransomville, NY defended his points title last
